STILL LIFE MORPHOGENSIS by Larry Gramezy
artist: LARRY GRAMEZY
24x16 photograph on metal
One of the images from a suite of photographs made by submerging a still life bowl of fruit into my pool to distort the still life. This group of photographs was referred to as "not so still lifes". around $50 in quarters was required to keep the apple and persimmon from floating to the surface. They were displayed in my solo show "Stuck" in 2022. The degree of distortion depended on placement of the fruit and bowl with respect to the circulation jets in the pool.
